Sometimes it’s not just what we say, but sometimes what we don’t say that makes the difference.
On this weeks trip to Vegas we stumbled across JABBAWOCKEEZ - well their store at least. For those who don’t know, the Jabbawockeez is an American hip-hop dance crew, best known for being the winners of the first season of America's Best Dance Crew in 2008.
Vegas is full of bright lights, smoke and mirrors. In an effort to stand out, signage had been taken to the next level, as a complete wall structure. From a design perspective, it was interesting how the scale of this made such an impact. The use of negative space was also a leading factor in creating the eye grabbing moment. Each of the letters alive and animated with the events of the store inside, not only people, but also products.
This led me to think - what more can we do to grab attention and secondly, how we can give potential clients and customers an insight to what’s going on inside our business?
